The complexities of this world and its patterns have always fascinated me. If I want to understand something, I need to find the pattern, the story of a concept. This is why I’ve always loved stories, and this is reflected in my work.

By way of visualisation, I try to tell tales of reality through a fantastical world. Using colour and composition, I create animations and illustrations that reflect the world we live in. Even though this is usually realised digitally, I also love the texture and feel that more traditional art forms can give us, such as lino printing and etching.

The incomprehensible can be scary and confusing, but with my work, I hope to spark curiosity and wonder by showing the complexities in a new light.
